Pollen Allergy

Pollen allergy is also known as Allergic Rhinitis which is actually a self-protective bodily reaction to a foreign substance the body doesn’t like. The troublemaker is the different types of airborne pollens. In Canada there are about 450 millions of people (15% of the 3 billions) suffering from such allergy.

The symptoms of pollen allergy is very similar to influenza: uneasiness all over the body, heavy headed, itchy and swollen eyes, tears shedding, continuous sneezing or stuffy nose. It could develop into sinusitis, ear infection, and asthma.

The only way to treat such allergy is to improve our health and strengthen our body, increase the efficiency of our body immune system. The simplest way to do is taking cold shower. Start with warm water and gradually turn to cold. Every time when our body is used to the water temperature, turn it further down until we are able to stand completely cold water. Do it continuously all the symptoms should be gone within two months without requiring any drugs. (For those who have heart problem and high blood pressure or who are not sure if they could stand cold shower, should consult their own doctors.)
