The time frame that Little Gordon was under Chinese medicine treatment was from April 4, 1991 to September 9, 1991. "During the time when Gordon was under Chinese medicine treatment, the progress and results were recorded in the file at the Children Hospital. Gordon's doctor at the hospital also suggested that he should continue to receive the Chinese medicine treatment because the chemotherapy that the western medicine was providing him would only suppress the cells from being overly active but was not able to cure the disease completely."

Gordon did not receive bone marrow transplant, therefore he suffered no side-effect from it. His face did not grow into "full moon"......

In the marathon type of gathering, besides celebrating the new life of this little friend (though it's history), celebrating the advent of Christmas, wishing this world be filled with love, thanking everyone who has donated his money, his blood, or shed his tear for this child, and besides marking the community spirit, at the same time we wish it will

  1. Help people come to know the ancient eastern culture, know the ancient Traditional Chinese medicine and understand the value of it;
  2. Provide the sick another alternative, another chance;
  3. Let people know that bone marrow transplant is not the only way to cure the disease. Besides bone marrow transplant and besides western medicine, there are other ways.

In the 21st century contemporary western medicine will lean towards Traditional Chinese Medicine. Finally, traditional medicine (natural healing) will demonstrate her infinite power of life. At that time what people require will no longer be asking only to cure the sickness, but asking for prolonging their lives.
