Dr. Long was a competent surgeon in a city hospital south of China before he came to Toronto Canada about ten years ago.

As one of the first disciples of Master Yansheng Zhang (world-known Yi-Jing master currently residing in Beijing, China) Dr. Long has been using this ancient Chinese wisdom in his medical practices and helped many patients recovered from illness and diseases (such as cancer, aids, leukaemia etc.) so far considered as incurable by modern medical technology.

Beside his Yi-Jing practice in the medicial and health field, Mr. Long proved the effectiveness of Yi-Jing theory in the financial field by setting a record of profit gaining of 3174.9% in the money market in New York Stock Market in 1998.

Mr. Long also uses Yi-Jing theory and successfully predicted traffic accidents in Ontario Canada. With his numerous success in introducing Yi-Jing theory in the operatinal guidances of commercial, industrial and political managements, Mr. Long has been trying to show to the world the greatness and profoundness of the traditional Chinese culture - Yi-Jing theory, and he did it.

His one month journey is to further promote Chinese traditional culture by giving a lecture about the world's oldest and greatest wisdom developed some 5000 years ago in early China.

Mr. Long will give detailed exemples of how to learn and practice Yi-Jing theory in everyday life.

Yi-Jing (I Ching, or book of change) is not only the oldest book in the world, it is the oldest intuitive decision-making aide still in use.

For thousands of years, emperors and sages used it to guide the daily affairs of what was the world's most advanced civilization, to make decisions, to seize opportunities.

Used to stimulate intuition, Yi-Jing has always been a key component of the most important and difficult decisions, including some of the greatest scientific discoveries. (In fact, it was the great scientist Albert Einstein who, together with his friend, the founder of depth psychology, Carl Jung, coined the term "synchronicity.")

It's interesting to note that the Yi-Jing in particular -- with its yin-yang concept of flipping dual states – informed the development of binary mathematics by Liebniz in the early 18th century, according to his letters and journals.

Over one century later, its impact was profoundly reflected in the new depth psychology of Carl Jung (who studied the Yi-Jing "Book of Changes" for 30 years) and the design of the first digital computers by Von Neumann.

This permanent wisdom accumulated by Chinese ancesters has been widely acknowledged and appreciated not only in China, but also in the world.
